The new Vertex M36, Taking its DNA from the Vertex Cal59 timepiece of 1944, the bespoke 36mm brushed steel case measures 11mm in depth with a lug width of 18mm and a lug-to-lug of 46.5mm. Don asked me to do the redesign and drawings for the watchmakers in October 2023, which was quite a privilege and honour to have worked on such a historic piece. The M36 launched recently, more information can be seen on the Vertex website.   Great review of the Vertex MP45 C50 I designed for Don. Caterham partnered with VERTEX watches to produce a limited edition timepiece, the MP45 C50, to celebrate Caterham's 50th anniversary as a car manufacturer. This special mono-pusher, which will be displayed on the Caterham stand at the Goodwood Festival of Speed , showcasing the meticulous craftsmanship and attention to detail that both British brands are renowned for. Don gave me free reign to come up with a new sporty design on this project. After I spent a fascinating day up at Caterham in Crawley lusting over the fabulous Caterham's for inspiration, this is what I created for them. I really love this watch design. I like to think I've managed to capture the essence of Caterham with a sporty yet very elegant looking watch, while still retaining our VERTEX traditional heritage.
