I've always loved orange as a colour, especially as a dial colour. Well, it dates back to my days working for DOXA, who cannot like orange! But this is a bit more unique than just orange panted dial as the Carnelian stone changes colours depending on the lighting condition. I'm really intrigued to see what it is like. Since the beginning of 2022 I've been working closely with a German client to produce a stunning new dive watch. It is always a long road one takes to create the perfection one desires, 3 prototypes later, a design change and a brand name change from Löwe to NAUTIK, and we are now very close to launching the new watch, with just the basic logistics to setup and do.
I've only recently received the latest prototypes for the new NAUTIK Modell Eins design, it looks absolutely stunning in my humble opinion, well, I designed it well, so I guess I would say that. lol It is absolutely perfect, no more prototype changes required! The build quality and elegant looks are exceptional, especially for its price point. It easily looks a £2,000 watch, although it will be nowhere near that price point! The watchmakers went that extra mile, upped the game completely and got this watch spot on first prototype!! The new watch is a way more elegant piece, very classy with vintage looks, yet very modern looking at the same time. It has all the modern features one expects: back illuminated sapphire bezel insert, Super-LumiNova fill, Applied indices, AR coated sapphire crystal, Zaratsu style polished elements on the case and bracelet, chunky screw down crown, layered dial, 200m WR, 316L Stainless Steel, Sellita movement etc etc. Nothing has been spared to make it as perfect a watch as we can. I'm very excited to see the reaction once it revealed. Unfortunately I can't show it yet, but soon we will after proper photography is done and website set up. The watch will launch within the new few months, if all goes to plan. Watch this space! Great review of the Vertex M36 I had to redraw and design for Don. I've not actually seen the final watch myself as yet, so I'll presume it came out well after seeing this glowing review. |
