If one thinks about it, a beautifully designed watch is not only an amazing little mechanical machine, it is also a wearable piece of art where the designer (the artist) has put part of his sole into creating the design. Wolfgang and myself like to produce pieces of art, not just another watch, hench our passion to create unique looking watches that are not just art, but also very practical for the harsh environment we live in, IE they're built to dive watch specifications.

Having seen the prototypes at the World Time UK show in September I felt very proud of our achievement with this watch...it looks absolutely stunning in the flesh!

I'm very excited about one of my latest watch designs being launched, the Helicoprion is a really stunner in the flesh. I got to see the watch for the first time at the World Time UK show when I met up with Wolfgang.
I know, I'm more known for dive watch designs, but this still retains a dive watches DNA. Well, what would one expect when both Wolfgang and myself are both scuba divers  ;-)​

The build quality and finish on these new timepieces is absolutely stunning and has done true justice to my original design concept. We've not held back on this watch. The concept was to create a more dressy luxury timepieces with beautiful polished bevelled edges, and a touch of class, but also a practical tough watch than one can were even when diving.

Had a great day at World Time UK yesterday meeting up with friends and clients.

First time meeting Andreas, we normally chat on Facebook.

It was great to catch up with Rick. We have working together since 2004, so 19 years now!

The Heinrich T2 GMT.
I'm really pleased with how this design came out, It looks spectacular in the flesh. The blue sunburst dial is amazing when the sun catches it. Sporty while being very elegant at the same time with it's dagger hands, which are one of my favourite hands on a watch.

German watch quantity is always superb, so I don't really need to add much about the build quality except it's exactly what one expects.

The watch comes on a very cool mess bracelet, but I've put mine on the T2 ladder bracket, which is the bracelet I originally designed for the case shape and I wanted to see how it looked.

​​Caterham partnered with VERTEX watches to produce a limited edition timepiece, the MP45 C50, to celebrate Caterham's 50th anniversary as a car manufacturer. This special mono-pusher, which will be displayed on the Caterham stand at the Goodwood Festival of Speed , showcasing the meticulous craftsmanship and attention to detail that both British brands are renowned for.

​Don gave me free reign to come up with a new sporty design on this project. After I spent a fascinating day up at Caterham in Crawley lusting over the fabulous Caterham's for inspiration,  this is what I created for them. I really love this watch design. I like to think I've managed to capture the essence of Caterham with a sporty yet very elegant looking watch, while still retaining our VERTEX traditional heritage.

I love working with microbrand watch companies, they're enthusiasm and passion nearly rivals my own, well almost lol.

This month I'm very excited to be working with two new microbrands, Trésor an American watch company and KRONAR a Belgium watch company. 

I can't reveal anything further at the moment suffice to say watch this space, they're a lot of new exciting watches that hopefully will launch between now and end of 2024.
